Mobile x Music back in Hamburg
MOBILE X MUSIC CONFERENCE – SPEAKERS FROM SPOTIFY, NOKIA, ROSKILDE & MORE
The Mobile x Music track – presented and curated by MLOVE – returns to the Schmidt Theater during the CAMPUS conference of Reeperbahn Festival 2013.
The music industry has been going through radical changes due to digital business models and rapid technological innovation. Mobile is the new platform that is an even bigger catalyst for digital change.
Expert speakers are taking the stage on Thursday September 26 at the Mobile x Music track during one of the Top 3 largest inner-city music festival in Europe – the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.
SPEAKERS:
Stefan Zilch (MD, Spotify, Germany), Conrad Fritzsch (CEO, tape.tv, Germany), Mark Wheatley (Director Music Experiences, NOKIA, UK), Dr. Johanna Brewer (co-founder, freestyl, Italy/ Germany), Kristoffer Carr-Saunders (Strategic Projects, Roskilde Festival), Stephen o’Reilly (Product Manager, Europe, Mobile Roadie, UK) and Michael Krause (CEO, AMPYA, Germany).
Special guests sharing about inspiring “New Frontiers”: Thomas Reemer (CEO, 88tc88, China) will talk about music distribution in China and Julius Tuomisto (CEO, delicode, Finland) will demonstrate new music experience with visual projections and sensor devices.
There will be an audience raffle with attractive prizes from Sennheiser and Spotify & AMPYA.
First it was video that killed the radio star, now tape.tv is the new music TV and Spotify is the new radio star. Digital platforms, broadband connectivity and smarter mobile devices enable more personalized services – how do these services help to discover new artists?
Music is becoming a product and flat rate program package. New players from hardware manufacturers, TV stations, operators and other digital giants are entering the market and providing new channels to the consumer. What is new with Ampya?
How can we strike a balance between value and return for the artist and reaching a wider audience of new fans and consumers?
These are some of the questions that the exclusive mobile track tries to discuss and explore.
