MLOVE at Mobile World Congress 2015
It’s Barcelona time again. But this time let’s make it different.
Let’s make Mobile World Congress what we really need it to be. A networking and showcasing event for professional networkers. Professional networkers? What I mean by that, are people who have been there, have seen it all and might get tired of the usual MWC business game. Our vision for the following MWC and 4yfn (the event in old beautiful Fira Montjuic) is to create an atmosphere where you get the best out of the three day business event through 100% innovation.
How do we do that?
We do not believe in a innovative ground breaking industry obeying to old fashion stigmas. That is why we created an innovative networking and expo concept at 4YFN in 2015. MLOVE will be hosting a 150 sqm booth dedicated to the latest findings and inventions all around the Internet of Things, Smart Cities, Wearables, Future Foods, Body Hacking, Art and a lot of surprises. Not only the exhibits will be innovative. We want to make innovation tangible by living it – from the vibe you feel when you enter MLOVE Lounge to the coffee you will be served.
Here is our concept:
1. Atmosphere
Let’s bring a piece of the unique, warm and cosy atmosphere from MLOVE castle to the anonymous concrete jungle of MWC halls. Studioszybko has been one of our best friends when it comes to equipping our events. We love their music, love their visuals, love their style …
2. Expo
Join the smart expo, showcase your product broadcast your personal message to the world via mlove.tv – We can offer to share our big booth by offering a corner to bring your rollup, poster or screen for your showcase. Get in touch with ewa@mlove.com to learn more about options for participation.
Our expo will be at 4 years from now, taking place March 2-4 at Fira Montjuic Barcelona. 4YFN is the MWC Startup event devoted to innovation in the mobile ecosystem. It is a business platform focused on building ideas and forging lasting relationships for international startups, investors and corporations. Sam Schechner from Wall Street Journal calls it „The hottest showcase for new technology at this year’s Mobile World Congress“.
Here are some facts about 4YFN:
- 5.000 expected attendees with 50% internationals
- 3-day program at the Mobile World Congress
- 150+ speakers, 44 sessions, 40 workshops
- 160+ hours of advanced content
- 3 startup competitions
- 1,000+ startup competition participants
- 800+ pre-booked investor Meetings
- 3 dynamic afterwork events
- 1,000+ party attendees
3. MLOVE Events
We are hosting little networking events like „Innovators Breakfast“ or „IoT Maker Workshops“ at the event space and are happy if you want to get involved. The place can host up to 100 people for events like receptions, your launch party or a little keynote. The workshop area is build for around 15 people with all conference stuff you may need – projectors, post its, internet access and glass / white boards.
Also in the last 3 years, we have been organizing the MLOVE MWC Afterparty at Ocaña – voted the most beautiful restaurant or club that you will find in Barcelona. A grand finale and a true local experience after a hectic week at Fira – previously we had models body painted and a stylish showcases of interactive fashion, let’s see what surprise this years closing party will hold for you 🙂
Sponsors are welcome to join our VIP & Speaker dinner at our Afterparty, all other guests come for a famous cocktail and to enjoy the beautiful company.
Again, get in touch with ewa@mlove.com to learn about your participation options – yes this is a call for sponsors as well as digital artists 😉
4. Your personal performance
Bio-hacking inspired drinks and foods will get the best out of you and may help boost your overall working performance for the week. See innovation does not only happen in the tech you program every day but can inspire you from all angles from daily life. Happy to present upgraded coffee, mushroom tea and a lot of smart recipes from a biohacker’s handbook.
We are constantly having our eyes open to find new innovators who want tot take that journey together with us. Please get in touch if you feel like you want to be part of the Future Lounge – be it as Sponsor, Media Partner or Volunteer. Happy to hear from you.
May the love be with you!
