Gemma Cocker, VP Growth, NeverBland
A self-proclaimed student of life, Gemma has a background in Events, Production, Law and Technology and she currently sits on the executive team at Neverbland as VP of Growth.
Her focus is on building the Digital Product Studio as it expands internationally, and positioning products in their respective markets. Gemma enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life, and firmly believes in the power of positive energy, and that business should be a driver in making positive change in the world.
Cecilia Pagkalinawan – CEO, Apploud
Cecilia is working on a new startup in mobile & music and has been connecting the dots between businesses and technology for over 15 years, from digital marketing and e-commerce to social media and mobile.
Her forte is knowing how to acquire, convert and retain customers through targeted marketing, branding, messaging, and relationship management. Since 2012 she been consulting with startups as well as Fortune 500 companies such as HP, Time Warner, Conde Nast, Gucci, and Pepsi. Former Consultant/CMO of Hone (social curation and surveying platform) and of Stagedom (music discovery and fan engagement app) applying the marketing, social commerce, CRM, and analytical skills she honed in fashion and luxury e-commerce to help emerging and established bands & artists further monetize their assets and create richer relationships with their fans.
Clients Cecilia worked at Burberry and with other brands like with: IBM, MCI, Volvo, Audi, AOL, Burberry, Oakley, Toys R Us, Fortunoff, Nine West, LEGO, Barney’s, etc.
Tim Leberecht – CMO, NBBJ
Tim Leberecht is the chief marketing officer of global design and architecture firm NBBJ, which helps organizations such as Amazon, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Google, Samsung, and Tencent create meaningful places and experiences. Previously, Tim was the chief marketing officer of product design and strategy firm Frog Design.
Tim has led numerous innovation workshops for Fortune 500 companies, and his thoughts on leadership, marketing, and design have appeared in publications such as Fast Company, Forbes, Fortune, Süddeutsche Zeitung, and Wired. He has spoken at venues including TEDGlobal, The Economist, DLD, Next, Re:Publica, Silicon Valley Bank CEO Summit, and Carnegie Mellon University. His 2012 TED Talk “3 Ways to (Usefully) Lose Control of Your Brand” has been viewed by more than half a million people to date.
Tim launched the award-winning Design Mind magazine and organized the Reinvent Business hackathon. He serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Values and is an advisor to The Human Agency, a collective of social change-makers.
He is the author of the upcoming book The Business Romantic (HarperCollins, Fall 2014).
