Maurice Conti – Director of Strategic Innovation at Autodesk
Maurice is a designer, innovator and explorer. His ideas, projects and creative leadership have been leveraged by Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, boutique manufacturing studios and renowned artists.
He’s currently Director of Strategic Innovation at Autodesk where his work is about defining and leveraging technological, economic and cultural trends, especially in the context of exponential change. His mission is to help technology bring more creativity into the world.
Prior to this, Maurice worked in digital manufacturing, was a Managing Director at frogdesign and founder of the NYC studio, and was a test pilot for high-speed experimental boats.
As a faculty member at Singularity University, Maurice is helping to spread (and build) a vision of the future where technology and design will help solve some of the most wicked problems we face as a species.

Jennifer Pabian – Senior Manager, Product Marketing at Samsung Telecommunications America
Jennifer defines the product messaging and positioning for Samsung Mobile’s tablet portfolio, including both Wi-Fi and carrier-connected tablets. Jennifer is also responsible for managing the go-to-market for key multi-screen experiences, and leveraging these experiences to accelerate the growth of Samsung’s tablet business.
Jerome Nadel – Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Rambus
Jerome Nadel is responsible for leading the overall business development and marketing functions. He is a leading expert on strategic usability and user experience with extensive international business strategy and marketing experience. Jerome joined Rambus from Option NV, where he served as chief experience officer leading the user experience process from research and innovation to implementation, marketing, and sales. Prior to Option NV, Jerome held the position of executive vice president of user experience and marketing at MobiWire, chief experience officer at Human Factors International, marketing VP at Gemplus and CMO at SLP InfoWare.

Urvi Bhandari – Global Innovation Director – Lifestyle Industries, AT&T
Urvi Bhandari leads the lifestyle industry practice within Hospitality | Entertainment | Media | Sports | Agency verticals for AT&T. Her role is to partner with the thought leaders in these industries to define the future vision of how people will live, work and play, utilizing technology in their daily lives.
Renate Nyborg – Global Director of Mobile at Edelman
Renate Nyborg is Global Director of Mobile at Edelman, the world’s largest communications agency. Her team specialises in mobile strategy, building apps and mobile websites, social for mobile and app marketing.
She previously led a variety of Edelman Digital clients including Xbox, PayPal, Motorola and TJX Europe. Renate was previously Head of Mobile Business Development for A&N Media, owner of the Daily Mail and Metro, launching 70+ apps in her time there. She also set up mobile games and apps publishing brand ‘Metro Apps’, originating publishing deals with a numerous independent games developers.
Karsten Weide – Program Vice President, Media & Entertainment at IDC
Karsten heads up IDC’s consumer research, which covers mobile consumer applications and platforms, consumer video, the connected home and gaming. His own research practice covers the new media, including online and mobile advertising, ecommerce, and consumer behavior and attitudes.
Aric Cheston – Executive Creative Director at frog
As an Executive Creative Director at frog, one of the world’s most respected innovation and design firms, Aric Cheston has a unique perspective on the state of people’s experiences in the connected economy. His role at frog encompasses advising and designing for businesses and institutions across a wide variety of sectors, and leading frog’s Austin studio. He has particular expertise in the Mobile Telecom, Media and Entertainment, and Automotive industries. Aric’s work is driven by a passion to understand howtechnology and designed experience can improve our world.

Amanda Coolong – COO and Chief Host at TechZulu
Amanda Coolong has been shaping and sharing corporate narratives for over 13 years. As Chief Host of TechZulu, her witty and unscripted interview style has brought down the guard of entrepreneurs big and small to reveal the personal motives behind key innovators of our time. She is a seasoned emcee and moderator, known for random stage antics (like dancing the Scottish Highland Fling on a dare) and her ability to instigate lively, entertaining discourse amongst panelists and audiences alike. Gretchen Fox – Social Business and Emerging Media/Technology Consultant
Gretchen Fox is a Social Architect. An early leader to identify business value in the social landscape, Fox provides a social vision and strategy for startups and Fortune 100 brands striving to become truly integrated social businesses. Prior to launching her consultancy, grtchnfx, she served as Vice-President of Social at Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s leading live entertainment company.
As the of Vice-President of Social at Live Nation Entertainment, Fox built a “social layer” that functioned across departments and divisions to leverage earned, owned and paid media holistically, and distribute social data across the organization. This strategy and framework effectively built an in-house social agency to service superstar touring artists including P!NK, Rihanna, and Jay-Z, as well as more than 100 regional and venue marketers.
Khayyam Wakil – Chief Innovation Officer, Immersive Media
Khayyam has made a plethora of people and companies smile by providing ideas that communicated their desired results. The secret? Listening.
From building transformational gaming platforms for Coca-Cola and the Olympics, spearheading digital campaigns, serving on the UN’s Social Media Envoy to End Malaria, running a digital agency, advising startups, and most recently, joining Immersive Media to pioneer and revolutionize the way we experience moments, live or on demand.
Bill Jensen – Bill’s title is Storyteller, Product Builder, Crime Solver. He’s freelance now.
A brawling writer and editor in his 20s, Bill Jensen is now a digital media executive and advisor with a proven track record of creating content and products that build both audience and revenue.Bill has a master’s degree in religious studies from the University of Kansas, has written award-winning crime, music, and entertainment stories for numerous publications, and played professional roller hockey (earning the first minor penalty in league history). He co-founded the nerd news and self-loathing blog Topless Robot and the Long Island Press newspaper and website (where he hired Amy Fisher as a crime columnist). And for three years was Nikki Finke’s boss.

Thomas Fellger – Founding Partner and group CEO, iconmobile Group
Thomas Fellger founded iconmobile group in 2003 to help brands realize the true potential of mobile design and business solutions. Thomas spearheaded the development of iconmobile’s own content management system – the icsmp development platform – which the Company licenses to prominent clients including BMW, Mini, Heineken and Microsoft.
He also created a sub-division within iconmobile, icon incar, while develops automotive interface designs and concepts for leading automobile manufacturers such as Mini and Audi.
Justin Moon – Global Technical Evangelist at QNX Software Systems
Justin Moon is a global technical evangelist for the automotive business development team at QNX Software Systems.
With his deep experience in software development and architecture, he helps automotive customers design next-generation systems, promotes the industry adoption of open standards such as HTML5, builds synergies between app developers and automakers, and ensures that QNX product roadmaps address the current and future technology requirements of automakers.
Brad Templeton – Singularity University, Advisor to Google & BitTorrent
Brad Templeton founded and designed the software for ClariNet Communications Corp., the first internet-based content company, then sold it to Newsedge Corporation in 1997. ClariNet publishes an online electronic newspaper delivered for live reading on subscribers machines.
He has been active in the computer network community since 1979, participated in the building and growth of USENET from its earliest days and in 1987 he founded and edited rec.humor.funny, the world’s most widely read computerized conference on that network, and today the world’s longest running blog.
Rasheq Zarif – Senior Manager, Business Innovation for Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc
Rasheq Zarif is responsible for exploring and developing creative and original business opportunities for the North American market. Rasheq has been with the Mercedes-Benz organization for over eight years in fields ranging from product strategy, technology and safety planning, and engineering.
He has two degrees in Mechanical Engineering with a in Economics and concentration in Product Development from Columbia University and U.C. Berkeley.

Beverly Jackson – Director of Marketing and Social Media, The Recording Academy & Co-Curator MLOVE ConFestival USA
Beverly has a passion for mobile, social and brand marketing with a commitment to consumer engagement. Beverly Jackson is the director of Marketing and Social Media for The Recording Academy, the producers of the GRAMMY Awards; where she is a founding member of the Digital Strategy Team, playing a significant role in the recent record breaking viewership increases incorporating social media into the iconic television broadcast
She has more than 15 years of partnership marketing, branded entertainment and digital business development experience. Beverly specializes in sorting digital clutter and noise to identify the most relevant and useful tools for general marketing consumption and utilization.
North America Managing Director, Mobile Marketing Association
Michael Becker is the North American Managing Director of the Mobile Marketing Association, where he oversees the association’s North American membership, research, strategic initiatives, events and education businesses. He is also Founder and Strategic Advisor to iLoop Mobile, Inc., an industry-leading mobile marketing solutions provider.
Mr. Becker is founder and publisher of the MMA International Journal of Mobile Marketing, has authored two books (Mobile Marketing for Dummies and Web Marketing All-in-One for Dummies), and written more than 80 articles and contributed to five other books.
Wearables
Walter de Brouwer – Founder and CEO of Scanadu
Walter de Brouwer is a Belgian internet and technology entrepreneur, futurist, academic and scientist. After a life-altering family emergency, de Brouwer founded Scanadu in 2010 at NASA Ames Research in California. Scanadu is using mobile, sensor and social technology to ensure this is the last generation to know so little about their health.
Amish Patel – Experience Design Manager / Creative Director at Microsoft Design
Amish is currently an experience design manager at Microsoft focused on the conception of new incubation project and product design for modern hardware, software and services. Amish started his careers as a UX Program Manager responsible for pen+touch user experience on Windows 7 and Windows 8. He then migrated over to the XBOX Design team to help drive the next generation of input languages (Kinect) and hardware interaction design efforts.
Dave Mathews – Founder and CEO of NewAer
Dave is a consumer-focused inventor specializing in mobile, convergence and digital entertainment. He has worked at the startup stages of projects like boxee, Slingbox and is an inventor of the CueCat consumer bar code reader.
Always tinkering, he has 70+ U.S. patents granted or pending and has appeared as a technology expert or host on some 300 television shows. Dave has written for PC Mag, is a founding contributor of O’Reilly’s MAKE and other consumer-tech outlets as well as industry publications.

Joel Spark – Co-Founder of NanoSatisfi
Joel Spark is a Co-Founder of NanoSatisfi, a nanosatellite (1 – 10kg satellite) startup company that seeks to let hackers, DIY programmers and app developers run their code in space. Their first satellite, “ArduSat” carries an Arduino-based experiment hosting computer and is scheduled to launch to Earth orbit in summer 2013. Joel designed the ArduSat satellite bus, ground station network, and ground test facilities.
Sylvie Barak – Maker Community Advocate at Atmel Corporation
Leaving life in the military to join the tech news industry five years ago, Sylvie has never looked back, having worked for popular tech sites such as the INQUIRER, Hexus, Tech Eye, RCR Wireless and TG Daily. Prior to Atmel, she held the position of Editor on EE Life, a section of the popular engineering publication EE Times.
Jon Carroll – Director of Software Engineering at Orbotix
Jon has been developing mobile applications for 5 years with apps on the iOS store the day it opened. He has released over twenty apps since then in various categories including a #1 selling app.
He is currently leading the software efforts at Orbotix creating mobile apps and games for Sphero, the smartphone controlled robot. His team is working to redefine augmented reality and gaming on mobile devices with robots.

Raj Singh – CEO at Tempo AI
Raj Singh is a mobile industry veteran having worked across the space over the past 12 years. Raj is the Founder and CEO of venture-backed Tempo AI focused on developing a smart calendar. Previously, Raj was the founding Vice President of Business Development for Skyfire, a mobile browser that supports full Flash rendering.
Joe Braidwood – CMO, SwiftKey
Joe is responsible for the company’s marketing, public events and growing community of users.
He joined SwiftKey when it was a tiny startup in 2010. Prior to that, he worked as a founding member of News Corporation’s wire service, NewsCore, and was an online producer for Sky News.

Gabriella Draney – Cofounder and Managing Partner, Tech Wildcatters
Gabriella Draney is Cofounder and Managing Partner of Tech Wildcatters, a Top 10 seed accelerator for technology startups. Most recently she was with HP Growth Partners, an early stage venture fund in Dallas, where she served on the Board of CelAccess. She co-founded an aircraft scheduling software company in 1998 that ended in a profitable exit, then went on to work for Morgan Stanley in private wealth management.
Dylan Tweney – Executive Editor, VentureBeat
Dylan Tweney is a writer and editor focused on technology and business.

Joel Yarmon – Partner at Draper Associates
Prior to joining Draper Associates, Joel served as Technology Director for the United States Senate Commerce Committee, advising Senators on technology legislation and policy.
Joel also co-founded an IT consulting startup, Iceware Technologies, where he specialized in wireless application infrastructure.
Joel has an MBA from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business, and a BA from the University of Puget Sound where he was Captain of the NCAA ski racing team.
